On July 30, 2020 Sarah Frei was on her way home from Bear Lake with friends when a drunk driver hit the car she was in. She spent two and a half weeks in the ICU and went through 20 surgeries, including a double leg amputation. After 75 days in the hospital and over 70 hours of therapy, she remained positive.
